International Women’s Day March 8th 2024

On the 8th of March the celebration of International Women's Day will take place at Utrecht University together with students, staff, and alumni! This will consist of panel discussions, lectures, and of course: the awarding of the ROSANNA FUND grants of this year. The theme of this year will focus on the impact of algorithms as they continue to influence various aspects of our lives, zooming in on the widespread concern about the potential biases they may introduce, especially against women and minorities. Join us as we delve into a broader conversation on International Women's Day, exploring the ways in which (digital) technologies, including Large Language Models, can either hinder or promote equality, diversity, and inclusion for women.
