Utrecht University is making its research and education more focused. To that end it has opted for four strategic themes to which all the faculties contribute. One of the themes will be Institutions, focusing on the contribution that institutions can make to sustainable prosperity, equality and democracy. In this framework The Centre for the Humanities founded by Prof. Rosi Braidotti together with the group 'Institutions of the Open Society' are working closely to develop a programme on the social responsibility of the university today.
